Although we informed you last month that several automakers will be raising the cost of their models in India, Toyota has finally disclosed the precise price hike that its range of cars experienced at the beginning of 2024. The three Toyota models impacted by the most recent price hike are the Innova Hycross, the Crysta, and the Urban Cruiser Hyryder. Among these, the Innova Hycross receives the highest increase of up to Rs 42,000. It is followed by the Urban Cruiser Hyryder, which sees a price increase of up to Rs 28,000, and the Innova Crysta, with a price hike of Rs 25,000. The technical specifications of the Innova Hycross include two engine options: a gasoline-only engine and a gasoline-hybrid configuration. The CVT included in these motors provides power to the front wheels. In contrast, the new Innova Crysta employs a 2.4-litre diesel motor mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and the Urban Cruiser Hyryder includes a 1.5-litre petrol mill with a CNG, 1.5-litre petrol motor with a smart hybrid unit, and a 1.5-litre petrol unit with a full hybrid unit as powertrain options. To know more about the variant-based price hike of these said models, read on.
