Toyota Kirlosker Motors has now launched the brand new Toyota Innova Crysta for Rs. 13.84 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai).
Toyota has now launched the second generation of the Toyota Innova called the Crysta in India for a starting price of Rs. 13,83,677/-. The top trim of the Innova is priced at Rs. 20,77,930/-. All prices are ex-showroom Mumbai.
The Innova Crysta will be available with two brand new engine options. The first one is a new 2.4-litre turbo diesel engine mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The engine produces 148hp @ 3400rpm and 343Nm @ 1400 – 2800rpm. The new Inova Crysta is also now available with a torque converter 6-speed automatic transmission mated to a 2.8-litre turbo diesel engine. The automatic version of the vehicle produces 172hp @ 3400rpm and 360Nm @ 1,200 – 3,400 rpm. Both engines feature ‘Eco’ and ‘Power’ driving modes.

The new generation of the MPV is fitted with lots of features like three front airbags and ABS with EBD as standard fitment, in addition to seven total airbags in the top variant. The Crysta also gets climate control, satellite navigation, multifunction steering wheel, front passenger seat adjusting from rear, electrically operated seats, 3D Design Combination Meter with 4.2" TFT Multi Information Display with parking sensors and reversing camera, ISOFIX child seat compliance seat in the second row and even a three-point seatbelt for all passengers. Toyota will offer the Crysta with 7 or 8 seater options just like the older generation.
The Crysta will be offered in four manual variants and two automatic trims. The variants with prices are as follows:

While some might think that the new Innova is priced too high when compared to the old one, the premium pricing of the car was expected as the car is fitted with a lot more features and does feel premium compared to the older generation.
