Toyota Kirloskar Motors India is celebrating a huge milestone for one of its car. Having sold 4 lakh units of this car, what better way to celebrate than to add some more bling. The reason to celebrate is because, Toyota has managed to sell those many units of its highly successful MPV – Innova.

First introduced in 2005, the Innova took over the mantle from the rugged, boxy and very successful Qualis. And now after 8 years in the Indian market, which has had its ups and downs, it still comes out victorious. Toyota has hence launched a chrome kit for the Innova.

The chrome kit will be sold as an accessory pack and will be made available at all Toyota dealerships across the country for Rs 31,000. The kit, which has been designed for the Innova GX diesel and petrol, can also be fitted to the top-end VX versions too.

The additions in the kit are chrome touches to the front grille, door handles, turn indicator surrounds, inserts on the wing mirrors and even the wheel arches. There is no doubt in my mind that Toyota knows which car shines out among the rest.
