Toyota Hilux Black Edition Launched in India at Rs 37.90 Lakh
Bookings for the Toyota Hilux Black Edition are now underway, while deliveries are slated to begin in March 2025. The all-black pickup made its debut at the 2025 Auto Expo.

After showcasing its striking all-black Hilux at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, Toyota has officially launched the pickup in India at Rs 37.90 lakh (ex-showroom). While the powertrain remains unchanged, the new edition, as the name suggests, boasts an entirely black exterior. It swaps the chrome-laden design of the standard model for a more aggressive look, with blacked-out elements including the grille, ORVMs, alloys, door handles, and side steps, offering a bold, stealthy appearance. The rear bumper, however, maintains a touch of chrome. Beyond that, the Black Edition retains the same design as the standard Hilux, with LED projector headlights, taillights, and the ‘Toyota’ logo on the tailgate.

Toyota Hilux Black Edition: Interior
Inside, the new Hilux variant stands out with an all-black cabin. However, the features remain unchanged, including automatic dual-zone climate control with rear vents, an 8-inch touchscreen, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, cruise control, a 6-speaker audio system, a cooled glovebox, and a smart entry with an engine push start/stop button.

The safety net includes front and rear parking cameras, seven airbags (as standard), an automatic limited slip differential, an electronic differential lock, and a hill assist control.
Toyota Hilux Black Edition: Powertrain
The Hilux Black Edition is equipped has a 2.8-litre, 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine that produces 201bhp and 500Nm, and is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. The vehicle features a four-wheel-drive system.
