One of the leading domestic automakers, Tata Motors, is anticipated to introduce a significant number of models in India next year. Both ICE and electric vehicles will be included in this pipeline. In October, the much-awaited Harrier and Safari Facelifts were launched by Tata Motors, with starting prices of Rs. 15.49 lakh and Rs. 16.19 lakh, respectively. Both prices are ex-showroom. Under the skin, both SUVs share the same mechanical foundation — a 2-litre diesel engine — that churns out 168bhp and 350Nm, mated to an automatic torque converter transmission or a 6-speed manual gearbox. In the coming year, the company will likely introduce vehicles like as the Tata Curvv, the Altroz Racer, and others in the country. These cars are anticipated to be affordable, full of features, and performance-oriented. So, if you're thinking about buying a car from Tata Motors, we have put together a short yet informative list of the top three cars that are likely to be on the Indian market shortly.

Tata Altroz Racer
The Tata Altroz Racer was on display at the 2023 Auto Expo, but its official launch date is yet to be confirmed. Appearance-wise, the Racer edition of Altroz is sportier and has a more eye-catching style than the standard model owing to the gloss-black polished alloy wheels and ORVMs, blacked-out roof and bonnet, and the 'Racer' emblem on the front fender. Though the hatchback's mechanical specifications are currently unclear, the Racer is expected to use a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine, similar to the one found in the Nexon, which generates 120bhp, mated to a six-speed manual transmission. In terms of amenities, the Tata Altroz Racer Edition is likely to come with six airbags, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 7-inch digital driver's display, an electric sunroof, heated seats, wireless phone charging, and more.
Tata Punch EV
While Tata Motors is yet to issue a formal statement, internet speculations are suggesting that the electrified Punch will make its way to India in the first half of 2024. Mechanically speaking, there are likely to be two battery pack choices for the Punch Electric —possibly modelled on the Tiago.ev or Nexon.ev. Alongside an array of components tailored specifically for electric vehicles, the car's bodywork will feature an updated grille, LED headlight clusters, and a front bumper with a charging connection. The Tata Punch's rivals will include the MG Comet EV and the Citroen eC3. In India, it is expected to go on sale for roughly Rs 12 lakh (ex-showroom).
Tata Curvv
The production-spec Tata Curvv is anticipated to go on sale in India in the early months of 2024. Its electric version will arrive first, followed by the ICE model. Unfortunately, there is not much data available about the electric drivetrain, but the car is said to be constructed on the carmaker's Gen2 chassis. It is also expected to offer a range of up to 500 kilometre. With the petrol variant, the firm may introduce its new 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine, as well as manual and dual-clutch automatic transmissions.

Although the model's specific characteristics are currently unclear, the recent modifications to the Harrier, the Safari, and the Nexon suggest that the Curvv will also have a 2-spoke steering wheel and a lit Tata emblem. In addition, the car may come equipped with features like heated front seats, a 10.25-inch digital driver's display, a 12.3-inch infotainment system, controlled air conditioning, and more. Its safety net is expected to contain six airbags, a 360-degree camera, and front and rear parking sensors.
