Kia will be announcing the prices of the top-spec GTX+ variants of the 1.4 DCT and 1.5 diesel AT in a few days.
There’s no denying that Kia has hit the ball out of the park with the launch of the Seltos. You see, not only is it a hugely capable product, but Kia has also managed to price it really, really well. However, while everything about this brand-new Korean SUV is impressive, a lot of people were left a bit disappointed on finding out that there are no automatic versions available in the top-spec GT-Line variant. However, on digging deeper, we’ve found out that this isn’t actually the case! Kia is actually planning to announce the prices of the top-spec GT-Line variant, GTX+, of the 1.5-diesel AT and 1.4-petrol DCT soon. In fact, their dealers are already taking bookings for these trims.
According to a Kia dealer in NCR, the top-spec automatic version of the 1.5-diesel and 1.4-petrol will be available soon. The dealer also hinted that both the models will be priced at around Rs 16.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Mechanically, there’ll be no changes though.
In the 1.4 petrol DCT, the GTX+ will add features like ventilated front seats, a Bose premium sound system, 360-degree surround view camera, blind view monitor, 8-way powered driver’s seat and a sunroof over the GTX variant. For the diesel, the GTX+ variant will bring in sporty bits and bobs on the inside-out, including sportier 17-inch crystal cut alloy wheels, black-and-beige dual-tone leather upholstery, et al, compared to the HTX+ that’s currently offered. Feature wise, it will gain a 360-degree surround view camera, blind view monitor, traction control and multiple driving modes, among others, over the HTX+.
Given the fact that the dealers are already accepting orders for these variants, Kia is expected to announce the official prices of the top-spec GTX+ automatic variants in the next few days.
