The Auto Expo 2025 featured an exceptional range of sedans, offering a real delight for fans of luxury and performance. Skoda revealed the sportier Octavia alongside the all-new Superb, while MG introduced the bold 7 Trophy and the electric iM 5. With a variety of stunning models on display, here are some of the standout highlights that truly captivated the audience.
Mercedes-Benz CLA Concept
At Mercedes-Benz’s pavilion, the standout attraction was the striking CLA Concept, which turned heads with its unique design elements. The car features striking headlights with the three-pointed star logo in an LED pattern, 20-inch wheels, a long hood, and a compact boot. Inside, the cabin has a futuristic feel, inspired by the Vision EQXX. A key highlight is the huge MBUX Superscreen that stretches across the dashboard, with three screens: one for the driver, a central display, and one for the co-driver.

The CLA Concept offers impressive performance, with a claimed range of 750 kilometres on a single charge. In its production-ready form, the CLA is said to offer a choice between single and dual-electric motor configurations. Mercedes-Benz plans to reveal the production-ready CLA Class in 2026.
New Skoda Octavia vRS
Skoda made a strong impression at the most recent edition of Bharat Mobility Expo with the new Octavia vRS, which keeps the brand’s signature butterfly grille but adds sporty upgrades like LED matrix headlights, animated taillights, and aggressive black accents. Inside, the car features an all-black cabin with red stitching, a 13-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay, and more. It is powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that produces 261bhp and 370Nm, and is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT). The Octavia vRS accelerates to 100km/h in 6.4 seconds, and has a top speed of 250km/h.
New Skoda Superb
The new-generation Skoda Superb, unveiled globally in late 2024, caught plenty of attention at the Expo. It features a refreshed design while keeping signature design elements. Inside, the sedan features a dual-tone theme with silver accents, physical climate control dials, and a 2-spoke steering wheel. It also includes a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, a 13-inch touchscreen, ambient lighting, a wireless charger, and a panoramic sunroof. Although launch details are still under wraps, the new Skoda Superb is expected to make its way to India soon, featuring a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine with 201bhp.
MG 7 Trophy
The MG 7 Trophy turned heads at this year’s expo with its sleek look and upscale interior. The sedan boasts LED headlights with T-shaped DRLs, a silver grille, frameless windows, 19-inch alloys, a sporty spoiler, connected LED lights, and dual exhausts. Inside, it includes racing-inspired leatherette seats and a dual-tone design, a 10.25-inch digital driver display, a 12.3-inch touchscreen, and a 3-spoke steering wheel with a supersport button. Other key highlights are a 9-speaker Bose audio system, a panoramic sunroof, and a 6-way adjustable driver’s seat. The MG 7 Trophy is powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that delivers 261bhp and 405Nm and is paired with a 9-speed torque converter automatic transmission. For the uninitiated, MG also showcased the iM 5 electric sedan at the expo, which offers a variety of powertrain options, and a claimed range of up to 850 kilometres.
New Porsche Taycan
At the expo, the new Taycan stood out with its blend of minimalist and sporty design. It has two battery options—89kWh and 105kWh— and is available in India in 4S and Turbo variants. The electric saloon features sharp headlights with dual LED strips, a reworked bumper, and a long bonnet with vertical cuts. The striking silhouette and alloy wheels add to its aggressive yet elegant appeal.

Inside, the car is packed with advanced features, including ventilated 14-way adjustable front seats, ambient lighting, 4-zone climate control, and a heads-up display.
