The Kia Seltos is now available in a total of 18 variants, with the arrival of the top-spec GTX+ petrol & diesel automatic derivatives.
At the time of its launch, the Seltos line-up seemed to max-out with the 1.4-litre petrol GTX+ 6MT variant, which has been priced at ₹ 15.99 lakh (ex-showroom). However, those of you who would have gone through the brochure of the Seltos would have noticed that the top-spec GTX+ variant (GT Line) is available with two more powertrain options: the 1.4 petrol with the 7DCT gearbox & the 1.5 diesel with the 6-speed torque converter automatic. The pricing for these two variants had not been announced at the time of the launch. Now though, Kia dealers have confirmed that the two range-topping variants have been launched at ₹ 16.99 lakh (ex-showroom). With this, the GT Line of the Kia Seltos gets its first diesel-powered derivative. However, it's only available as an automatic.
As reported earlier, the Seltos is available in two major trims: the Tech Line & GT Line. While the Tech Line forms the conventional variant range, the GT Line adds additional sporty bits in the form of red exterior accents, bigger alloy wheels & an all-black interior with red contrast stitching, to name a few. The top-of-the-line GTX+ variants, when compared to the one-level lower GTX option, offer additional features like an electric sunroof, ventilated front seats, a 360-degree camera, a premium Bose 8-speaker sound system, front parking sensors, a blind view monitor in the instrument cluster, multiple drive modes & two-tone leatherette seats.
The bookings for the new top-spec GTX+ automatic variants are open and deliveries are expected to begin sometime in October 2019.
