Next-gen Maruti Suzuki Swift
While a particular date is yet to be confirmed, Maruti Suzuki plans to launch the next-generation Swift in India in May 2024. The redesigned hatchback had its global debut at the Tokyo Motor Show in 2023. It is currently in its fourth generation and is available for purchase in Japan, the UK, and selected European regions. The 2024 edition is built on the most recent HEARTECT platform. It sports the same silhouette as the current-gen Swift. However, certain modifications, like a new grille, sharper headlights and taillights, altered bumpers, and new alloy wheels, are expected.
Inside, the revised India-spec hatchback could have a three-spoke steering wheel, a floating touchscreen infotainment system, and a new AC console. The Maruti Suzuki Swift in Japan is propelled by a Z Series 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol motor, which is expected to be employed in the India-spec variant as well. More information on this subject is likely to be disclosed closer to the launch.

The entire exterior is currently unknown, but industry rumours suggest that the front and back ends could undergo some modifications.
The 5-door SUV will have the same dashboard as its sibling, but with a bigger infotainment touchscreen, according to the most recent interior teaser. In terms of powertrain, the Force Gurkha 5-door is expected to feature the same Mercedes-sourced 2.6-litre diesel unit as the Gurkha 3-door.
