Several prominent automakers in India, such as Hyundai, Honda, Maruti Suzuki, and Skoda, have introduced special edition models of their popular cars to generate excitement ahead of the festive season. Each special edition showcases innovation and exclusivity, with captivating colour schemes, interior upgrades, and enhanced features. Whether you're in the market for a sporty hatch or a sophisticated SUV, there are numerous options to choose from this festive season. Let's explore the top 5 special editions launched in India.
Hyundai Creta Knight Edition
The Hyundai Creta Knight Edition is based on the S(O) and SX(O) variants. It has a blacked-out design and is priced between Rs 14.51 lakh and Rs 20.15 lakh (ex-showroom). Cosmetically, the Knight Edition distinguishes itself from the standard model with an all-black grille, logos, C-pillar garnish, front and rear skid plates, side sill garnish, ORVMs, spoiler, and 17-inch alloy wheels (with red brake callipers). Inside, it gets an all-black theme with brass-coloured accents throughout the dashboard. The Creta Knight edition comes with two powertrain options: a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol and a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder diesel. It is not available with a turbo-petrol engine option.

Kia Sonet, Seltos, Carens Gravity Editions
Kia launched the Gravity Edition for the Sonet, Seltos, and Carens models in India, with prices starting at Rs 10.50 lakh, Rs 16.63 lakh, and Rs 12.10 lakh, respectively. The exclusive badge adds an array of high-end amenities such as a dash cam, a wireless phone charger, and ventilated front seats. These features vary based on models.
The Sonet Gravity Edition (1.2-litre Petrol MT/1-litre Turbo-petrol iMT/1.5-litre Diesel MT), based on the mid-spec HTK Plus variant, is priced Rs 48,000 higher. The Seltos Gravity Edition (1.5-litre Petrol MT or CVT/1.5-litre Diesel MT), on the other hand, costs up to Rs 1.25 lakh more and is based on the higher-spec HTX model. Last but not least, the Carens Gravity Edition (1.5-litre Petrol MT/1.5-litre Turbo-petrol iMT/1.5-litre Diesel MT) charges up to Rs 1.04 lakh more than its regular counterpart. It is based on the lower-spec Premium (O) model.
Hyundai Venue Adventure Edition
The Venue Adventure Edition starts at Rs 10.15 lakh ex-showroom. It is available in S(O), SX, and SX(O) variants, costing Rs 16,000 more than the standard prices.
In terms of design, the SUV sports a new Ranger Khaki exterior shade, alloy wheels with red brake callipers, skid plates, and a blacked-out front grille. It sports a blacked-out interior instead of the standard Venue's dual-tone black and grey. Other bits include unique seats with Adventure Edition fabric, and sage green highlights, new 3D carpets, and sporty metal pedals.
In terms of features, the SUV adds a dashcam with two cameras. The Adventure Edition's powertrain options consist of 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol and 1-litre turbo-petrol.
Maruti Suzuki Wagon R Waltz Edition
The Waltz Edition of the Wagon R is available across Lxi, Vxi, and Zxi variants and has a starting price of Rs 5.65 lakh (ex-showroom). It features several exterior and interior cosmetic enhancements such as a chrome grille, side skirts, wheel arch cladding, fog lamp garnish, body side moulding, designer floor mats, new seat covers, a 6.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and a reverse parking camera. The hatchback is offered with a 1-litre and 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine options. A CNG powertrain is also available.

Honda Elevate Apex Edition
The Honda Elevate Apex Edition has several exterior and interior enhancements, such as a piano black garnish under the doors, the Apex Edition logo on the fenders and tailgate, an ivory and black interior, and Apex Edition-specific seat fabric and cushions. The limited-run model is based on the mid-spec V and VX variants and is priced between Rs 12.86 lakh and Rs 15.25 lakh (both, ex-showroom). Mechanically, the SUV continues to use a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 120bhp and 145Nm, mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed CVT.
