The hatchback sold 3,332 units more than the 12,961 units sold in November 2023, indicating positive year-on-year growth. The Ertiga, which was the top-selling car in October, slipped to the fifth spot in November, marking a significant shift in rankings. Maruti Suzuki Baleno
The Maruti Suzuki Baleno topped the sales charts in November 2024, rising from sixth place in October. It sold an impressive 16,293 units, which is a notable 25.71% year-on-year growth over the 12,961 units in November 2023.

Powering the Baleno is a 1.2-litre Dual-Jet petrol engine, which delivers a robust 89bhp and 113Nm of torque. Buyers can choose between a 5-speed manual transmission or a 5-speed automatic. When running on CNG, the same unit churns out 76.4bhp and 98.5Nm, paired exclusively with a 5-speed manual gearbox. It is priced between Rs 6.66 lakh to Rs 9.84 lakh (ex-showroom).
Hyundai Creta
In November 2024, the Hyundai Creta sold 15,452 units, reflecting a robust growth of 30.79% from the previous year's 11,814 units. The Creta's diverse engine lineup, includes a 1.5-litre turbo petrol, 1.5-litre diesel and 1.5-litre normally aspirated petrol. With a price range spanning from Rs 11 lakh to Rs 20.15 lakh (ex-showroom), the Hyundai Creta remains a top contender in the SUV segment.
Tata Punch
The Tata Punch ranked as the third-best seller in November 2024, with 15,435 units sold. Compared to 14,383 units sold in November of last year, this was an increase of 7.31%. Under the hood, the Punch features a 1.2-litre three-cylinder naturally aspirated (NA) petrol engine, the Revotron, which delivers 86.63bhp at 6,000rpm and 115Nm at 3,250rpm. Buyers can choose between a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed automatic transmission. The CNG version of the Punch uses the same engine but produces 72bhp and 103Nm, available exclusively with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Additionally, the Punch is also offered in an electric variant with two battery options—25kWh and 35kWh.
The pricing for the Punch starts at Rs 6.13 lakh for the petrol variant, Rs 7.23 lakh for the CNG version, and Rs 9.99 lakh for the electric model (all ex-showroom).
Tata Nexon
The Nexon SUV sold 15,329 units in November 2024, showing a modest increase of 2.77% year-on-year. The ICE variant is offered with 1.5-litre diesel and 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engines. The electric version, on the other hand, is available with either a 30.2kWh or 40.5kWh battery pack. Pricing for the Nexon starts at Rs 8 lakh for the ICE variant, Rs 8.99 lakh for the CNG model, and Rs 12.49 lakh for the electric version. These are starting and ex-showroom figures.
Maruti Suzuki Ertiga
The Ertiga, the best-selling car in October 2024, ranked fifth in November's sales. It recorded a 17.83% growth in sales year-on-year, selling 15,150 units.

The MPV has four primary models (LXi, VXi, ZXi, and ZXi+), and is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine with mild hybrid technology. A CNG powertrain is also available. The ex-showroom price of the MPV ranges between Rs 8.69 lakh and Rs 13.03 lakh.
