The Suzuki Swift AllGrip FX, based on the standard platform, boasts a 32mm ground clearance boost, all-terrain tyres, and rugged black cladding for an SUV-like look.
Suzuki has taken its compact hatchback to adventurous new heights with the one-off Swift AllGrip FX – a rugged, trail-ready concept built to turn heads, developed by Suzuki Netherlands. Based on the standard Swift platform, this special edition features a 32mm increase in ground clearance, beefier all-terrain tyres, and black cladding that enhances its SUV-inspired attitude. Designed with outdoor enthusiasts in mind, the AllGrip FX combines the agility of a city car with the capability of a crossover. From roof racks ready for camping gear to a lifted stance tailored for light off-roading, this unique Swift is more than just a styling exercise – it is a bold statement. While it is not headed for production just yet, this drool-worthy build shows what’s possible when Suzuki reimagines its hatchback for the wild.
All-wheel-drive systems are a common feature in Japan’s kei car category, but the Suzuki Swift stands out as one of the smallest European models to offer this capability. The AllGrip system in the Swift improves performance on slippery surfaces by efficiently transferring power to the rear wheels when the front wheels experience traction loss, enhancing stability and control.

Unlike the 2024 Swift sold in India, which maintains a front-wheel-drive layout and prioritises fuel efficiency and urban performance, the European AllGrip FX focuses on maximising grip and off-road readiness. The exterior design is subtly rugged, with a Tralert LED light bar integrated into the front grille, black wheel arch cladding, and the AllGrip decals, all contributing to its tough and capable appearance.
Practical features like a Thule roof rack significantly increase the vehicle’s utility, allowing it to carry items such as spare wheels and snow chains. Additionally, the rear bumper is protected with a rubber trim, and the 196/55R16 all-season tyres on black alloy wheels offer a solid balance between on-road comfort and off-road traction.
The powertrain consists of a 1.2-litre three-cylinder engine with a 12V micro-hybrid system, generating 82bhp of maximum power and paired with a five-speed manual transmission.
Inside, the AllGrip FX keeps the layout of the Indian model but introduces leather seating for a more premium feel. Rubber mats make post-adventure cleaning a breeze, and a Dometic cool box and additional storage options cater to long trips and outdoor activities.
