Nilu27, a new automotive company founded by Sasha and Inna Selipanov, is set to shake up the hypercar market. Named after their daughters, Nica and Lucia, Nilu27 will debut its first model—a naturally aspirated V12 hypercar—at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance later this year. With over two decades of experience, Sasha Selipanov has a rich background in automotive design, having worked on iconic models like the Lamborghini Huracán, Bugatti Chiron, and Koenigsegg Gemera. His expertise will play a key role in shaping Nilu27's design and development. In an industry leaning towards turbocharging and electrification, Nilu27's choice to create a naturally aspirated V12 hypercar stands out. The company aims to deliver a pure, thrilling driving experience that appeals to true car enthusiasts. As Nilu27 enters the hypercar scene, its founders’ proven track record and commitment to excellence position the company as a strong contender in this exclusive segment.

Sasha Selipanov said: 'My path in the industry has never been about following rules and sticking to norms. I was never afraid to follow my intuition or chase my dreams. Breaking conventions is simply a byproduct. The same is true for NILU: a hypercar that discards current trends and conventions in pursuit of an elevated automotive experience.'
'Unveiling NILU to the world is a dream come true; a moment so profound it is hard to express in words. The vision was the result of a decades-long search, sleepless nights, years of overthinking and overanalyzing. I was fortunate to learn from and contribute to the industry’s best; now my team and I are thrilled to put all this vision and knowledge into action,' he added.

The Nilu hugs the road with an aggressive stance, its wide, twin-scoop front end reminiscent of a race car. Towering 20-inch five-spoke wheels fill the arches, their lines ascending sharply towards a dramatic rearward sweep. A broad rear scoop, seamlessly incorporating a NACA duct, dominates the car's profile. The taut bodywork wraps around exposed elements of the powertrain, culminating in a central cluster of exhaust pipes that evoke the iconic snake pit design of the GT40.
Nilu27: Engine
Nilu is powered by a naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V12, developed in collaboration with Hartley Engines of New Zealand. Unburdened by electric assistance or forced induction, this 80-degree hot-V powerplant unleashes 1,070bhp and 860Nm of torque. Twelve individual throttle bodies feed the engine, which revs to a stratospheric redline beyond 10,000 rpm. A stunning 12-into-1 3D-printed Inconel exhaust system not only delivers a thunderous soundtrack but also becomes a dramatic focal point of the car’s rear design. Nilu27 anticipates a top speed approaching 402 km/h and a 0-100 km/h sprint well under three seconds.
Nilu27 plans to publicly unveil the hypercar on August 15 at Pebble Beach during Car Week and the initial production run will be limited to just 15 units.
