The GT 63 Pro 4Matic+ is Mercedes-AMG's more powerful and track-focused version of the GT 63, claiming to offer an 'even sportier driving experience'. Unveiled at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK, the GT 63 Pro does not just have a stunning design and a roaring 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 producing 603bhp but also gets enhanced aerodynamics and cooling.
Starting with its aerodynamic design, the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 Pro 4Matic+ stands out with a redesigned front fascia, marked out by larger side air intakes and carbon fibre air deflectors. There are also more air deflectors underneath the car for increased airflow. Those, combined with a massive fixed wing at the rear, help reduce aerodynamic lift and enhance the rear-axle downforce (by 15kg). Moreover, the vehicle benefits from the AMG aerodynamics package, including an AirPanel active air control system as standard. The system regulates the airflow based on the aero and thermal requirements.

Also standard is an AMG Exterior Carbon Fiber package, which further enhances the sporty appeal of the vehicle. The package includes a front splitter, rear diffuser, and side skirts. The GT 63 Pro sits on lightweight 21-inch forged split-spoked wheels finished in Himalaya Grey, also offered as standard. The wheels come wrapped in either Michelin Pilot Sport 5 or Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R rubber tyres.
Mercedes-AMG GT 63 Pro 4Matic+: Brakes, Suspension
The standard bits also include an AMG carbon ceramic high-performance composite brake system consisting of 420mm discs with six-piston fixed callipers at the front as well as one-piston floating callipers at the rear. For suspension, the car uses the AMG active ride control suspension system, meaning that the four dampers are all hydraulically interconnected. On offer is also rear-axle steering.
Mercedes-AMG GT 63 Pro 4Matic+: Interior
Inside, the GT 63 Pro offers an AMG-specific steering wheel in Nappa leather and microfibre. There are also AMG Performance bucket seats with high lateral support. All of these come along with an 11.9-inch infotainment screen and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster.
Mercedes-AMG GT 63 Pro 4Matic+: Powertrain
Under the hood, the Pro 4Matic+ gets the same 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine as the standard model, but it packs 26bhp more punch at 603bhp, while the torque output stands at 850Nm. Mercedes-AMG claims the car can sprint from 0 to 100km/h in 3.1 seconds before topping out at 317km/h. While the 0–100km/h acceleration time remains the same as the standard model's, the Pro is said to cover 200km/h in just 10.9 seconds, 0.5 seconds quicker than the regular GT 63. But, it doesn't end there.

The car is also kitted out with two additional radiators mounted to the front wheel arches, in turn enhancing the cooling systems. The front and rear differentials, and the transfer case, also get radiators with electrically operated water pumps to dissipate heat better.
