McLaren's Chief Executive Officer Michael Leiters said: 'Ayrton Senna was born to race, and his passion for performance and perfection lives on at McLaren. The McLaren Senna bears his name and embodies his spirit – it is the ultimate road-going McLaren for focused track performance, and this masterfully detailed inspiration captures Ayrton’s infectious energy. Our collaboration with McLaren Racing to honour the Senna racing legacy 30 years on is a shared celebration of Ayrton’s unique racing abilities, and the Monaco street circuit he made his own is the perfect place to reflect on his incredible achievements.'

McLaren Senna Semphre: The livery
A pre-production McLaren Senna, initially featured in the Senna marketing campaign and now part of McLaren's historical collection has been transformed into the McLaren Senna Sempre. This exquisite custom vehicle showcases a stunning hand-painted portrait of Ayrton Senna, featuring vivid colour gradients and intricate detailing.
The Brazilian flag inspired the colour scheme of this McLaren Senna, incorporating yellow, green, and blue. McLaren's in-house Special Operations unit meticulously hand-painted the car's livery. The paintwork is adorned with tribute inscriptions, including the 'double S' emblem, which is prominently displayed on the hood, wing endplates, and throughout the vehicle. The sides of the car feature contrasting artwork depicting Senna both in and out of his race car, accompanied by his famous quote: "I have no idols. I admire work, dedication, and competence."
Inside, McLaren made a few changes and put green perforations on the seats along with yellow Alcantara upholstery. The car also displays all five of Senna's race numbers from his consecutive Monaco victories with McLaren (1989–1993).
