Powered by the new Ingenium engines, the new Range Rover Evoque will deliver best-in-class emissions and fuel efficiency, and will make its debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2015.

The best-selling Land Rover – Range Rover Evoque – has decided to stay ahead of the competition with its 2016 edition. Keeping up with time, the new Range Rover Evoque will be powered by the new Ingenium engines that will not only deliver the minimum CO2 emissions in the class, but also the best fuel efficiency. Land Rover claims that the new Evoque will run 23.8kms in one litre of fuel.

The market leader is sure that with its new design and technology it will stay at the top in the time to come.

The cosmetic changes include things like a new front bumper, LED headlights and new alloy wheels.

Interiors have been revised too. New seats and door casings, an all-new infotainment system that can be accessed with the help of an 8-inch touchscreen and the new colour tones just make it look the way it should – next generation.

With this car, Land Rover’s new diesel engine will also make its debut. The new 4-cylinder Ingenium engine will deliver a maximum power of 177bhp and a fuel efficiency of 23.8km/l. Service interval for this engine has been increased to 21,000 miles from the existing 16,000 miles to reduce the running cost of the new Evoque.

Commenting on the new Evoque, Gerry McGovern, Design Director and Chief Creative Officer, Land Rover said, “The Range Rover Evoque first established and then dominated the luxury compact SUV sector generating worldwide acclaim and sales success. Our challenge has been to evolve the Evoque design without diluting its distinctive character.”

The new Evoque will also come with the existing 4-cylinder petrol engine that delivers 237bhp of maximum power with a fuel efficiency of 12.8km/l.

The introduction of hands-free tailgate function allows the owners to open and close the gate by waving a foot under the rear bumper. The new Evoque will also come preloaded with the All-Terrain Progress Control which will allow the car to maintain a fixed speed between 2km/h and 30km/h in forward or reverse gears.

Customers will be able to choose between three different variants of Evoque – SE, HSE Dynamic and Autobiography. Selling 1,25,364 Evoques last year, Jaguar Land Rover is sure that this new variant of the car will surely take the sales figures to the next level in the 170 international markets it has a presence in. The exact pricing will be announced by the carmaker as the launch date gets closer.
