The California based electric carmaker has announced its Tesla Roadster 3.0 which will go over 400 miles in one full charge.
The version 3.0 of Tesla Roadster has been confirmed by the California based carmaker. The carmaker just took the wraps off the latest avatar of the world’s fully electric sports car. The major update is of the increased range. The new age car will go over 400 miles (644 kms) in one complete charge. This new development is historic as most of the high performance electric cars have a very limited range and that makes it almost impossible to use in a normal situation.
The new increased range has been achieved thanks to a new battery technology that can now provide 70 kWh from the same package that delivered 53 kWh in the original Roadster. To make the car rolling better, new tyres with 20% less resistance have been installed.
Tesla also said it has improved almost 40-50% on the driving range the first-generation Tesla Roadster offered. The car is expected to be demonstrated early next year, but the price and the launch date is yet to be announced by Tesla.
