Tesla's arrival in India has been a topic of discussion for many years. But after learning that Tesla, a manufacturer of electric vehicles, was in active talks with the Indian government to establish a local manufacturing facility here, the matter suddenly came back into the spotlight. If reports are accurate, Tesla will be able to produce EVs in India and sell them for less money. But before that, a recent cause for which Tesla has again caught the attention is its Cybertruck, which was first revealed in 2019. A picture posted on social media indicates that the Cybertruck is now being manufactured at Tesla's Texas Gigafactory. The image shows the facility's employees posing with the first unit. Let's take a quick look at the features and other specs of the production-spec model.

Tesla Cybertruck: Mechanical Specifications
The Cybertruck gets three powertrain options: single-motor RWD, dual-motor AWD, and triple-motor AWD. The single-motor rear-wheel-drive model has a claimed range of 402 kilometres and can go from a standstill to 100km/h in 6.5 seconds. The mid-range twin motor version can do the same in 4.5 seconds. The top model will feature Tesla's most recent three-motor Plaid EV powertrain, which is also used in the Tesla Model S Plaid. It has a claimed driving range of 804 kilometres.
Tesla Cybertruck: Off-road Capabilities, Interior Features & More Details
The Cybertruck has adjustable ride height adaptive air suspension. With a 406mm ground clearance, it also has an adjustable air suspension, along with a towing capability of up to 6,350 kgs and a 35-degree approach and a 28-degree departure angle. Further, it has 1,587 kgs of load capacity and a 1981mm bed for transportation purposes. Moreover, the model includes a load mode that makes its tailboard into a ramp to make loading easier. The load bay is 6.5ft long and has a raisable top. According to the manufacturer, the vehicle has a lockable storage space of 2,800 litres. Inside, the Cybertruck has a dashboard dominated by a 17-inch tablet-style touchscreen. Further, it can accommodate up to six adults.

Tesla Cybertruck: Price
Price-wise, the standard version costs $39,900 (approximately Rs 32.72 lakh), while the mid-spec variant is priced at $49,900 (around Rs 40.92 lakh). The higher-spec version, meanwhile, carries a price tag of $69,900 (roughly Rs 57.32 lakh).
