The better-equipped Tigor EV will be launched on November 23, with a few more premium features.
A new colour scheme for the Tigor EV has been officially revealed by Tata Motors. The Tigor EV will be available in a new red exterior colour. Currently, Daytona Grey and Teal Blue are the only colour options offered for the EV. As seen with the Nexon EV's model lineup, the next top-of-the-line variant may be known as XZ+ Lux.
In addition to the cosmetic modification, the new Tata Tigor EV will also undergo some minor mechanical tweaks via software updates. A longer list of features, including leatherette upholstery and cruise control, are expected for the Tigor EV. With a stated electric driving range of 306 kilometres, it is propelled by a 26kWh battery pack that produces 74bhp and 170Nm of peak torque. Further, the buyers can choose from the two available drive modes – Eco and Sports.
The car might also feature more connected car features, rain-sensing wipers, a tyre-pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and multi-level regenerative braking. The Tigor EV is offered in the XE, XM, and XZ+ trim levels and includes projector headlamps, automatic temperature control, electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs, LED DRLs located on the bumper, a touchscreen infotainment system, and a height-adjustable driver seat.
The upgraded Tigor EV is anticipated to cost a little bit more than the existing model, which ranges in price from ₹12.49 lakh to ₹13.64 lakh (ex-showroom). In the company's EV portfolio, the Tigor EV sits between the compact Tiago EV and the Nexon EV.
