The all-electric Tata Punch EV, India's first and safest electric vehicle scoring a 5-star rating in the Bharat NCAP crash test, has crossed the 10,000-unit sales milestone within 5 months after launch in January 2024. Tata says the Punch EV could achieve this milestone due to a combination of long range, exalting performance, cutting-edge technology, and features generally found in segments 2–3 above its own.
Priced between Rs 10.99 lakh and Rs 15.49 lakh (ex-showroom, India), the Punch EV is the automaker's first electric car to be based on the new Gen 2 EV architecture, dubbed 'acti.ev'. Tata's second electric SUV, the Punch EV, comes in five broad variants – Smart, Smart +, Adventure, Empowered, and Empowered+. As for colour options, it can be had in five dual-tone and four monotone exterior shades, including Seawood Green, Daytona Grey, Fearless Red, Pristine White, and Empowered Oxide.

With 81bhp and 114Nm at its disposal, the Punch EV MR can sprint from 0 to 100km/h in 13.5 seconds, while the LR can do the same in 9.5 seconds, with 120bhp and 190Nm of torque.
