Meanwhile, the Maruti Suzuki Fronx S-CNG harbours a 1.2-litre, K-Series, DualJet, Dual VVT petrol unit with a factory-installed CNG kit that delivers 76.5bhp and 98.5Nm. A 5-speed manual gearbox is offered as standard equipment for both powertrains. The Punch CNG offers a 26.99km/l efficiency rating, whereas Fronx CNG claims a little more increased 28.51km/l rating.

A 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, automatic projector headlights, rain-sensing wipers, and other features are available on the Punch iCNG. It also has 16-inch alloy wheels with diamond-cut detailing. The three Punch CNG variants offered for purchase in India are Pure, Adventure, and Accomplished. The Punch iCNG has an ex-showroom price ranging from Rs 7.10 lakh to Rs 9.68 lakh. The Fronx S-CNG comes in two versions, the Sigma, and the Delta, with pricing ranging from Rs 8.42 lakh to Rs 9.28 lakh. All are ex-showroom figures.
