The Tata Punch iCNG is the newest product in the Indian automotive market and one of many feature-rich, high-end vehicles and SUVs that now come equipped with an optional CNG kit directly from the factory. Speaking of the powertrain details, both CNG vehicles are only offered with a 5-speed manual transmission, with the Punch iCNG appearing to have somewhat better performance on paper than the Exter CNG. The 1.2-litre petrol engines with CNG propell both Micro SUVs, the Punch, and the Exter, but the former is a 3-cylinder while the latter is a 4-cylinder. Although the Punch produces 72.5bhp of maximum power, its segment-best 103Nm of peak torque is what sets it apart from the other contenders.
