Tata Motors is all set to thrill electric vehicle enthusiasts by launching the electrified version of the Punch SUV, following the highly anticipated Nexon EV Facelift release in India. The Punch EV has been spotted multiple times on Indian roads, with new spy photos emerging online recently. The test mule of the Punch EV featured a redesigned grille with vertical slats and a revamped bumper. The daytime running lights (DRLs) are also concealed beneath the bonnet line. Although there is no official confirmation, the EV is likely to feature a light bar that runs across the width of the bonnet and retains its split headlamps. The latest spy photos also reveal that the EV has a larger floating infotainment system inside. With all these features, the upcoming Tata Punch EV in India seems to be worth waiting for. Tata Punch EV: Powertrain
Tata Motors hasn't provided any information regarding the battery pack or specifications. Industry reports suggest that the Punch EV will have mechanical specifications identical to the electrified Tigor and the Tiago. However, the output, efficiency, range, and thermals might all be increased in the electric Punch.
Tata Punch EV: Interior and Features
The most recent spy images show the Punch's bigger touchscreen infotainment system. Although there is no proof, market speculations suggest that it may be a 10.25-inch display also found on the ICE-powered Nexon. Talking of the features, the electric Punch is expected to resemble the Nexon EV and includes a twin-spoke multifunctional steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo, premium seat upholstery, six airbags, a wireless charger, a digital instrument cluster, touch-based HVAC controls, and more.

Tata Punch EV: Launch Timeline
There is no official information available on the launch of the Punch EV as of now. However, market reports suggest that the automaker may introduce the EV into the Indian market by October or November. The upcoming car will be positioned between the Tiago EV and the Nexon EV in the company's product range. As for the price, the electric Punch may have a starting price of approximately Rs 13 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. More details regarding its specifications are expected to be disclosed closer to the launch.
