The Tata Nexon EV crossed the sales mark of 50,000 units in the country. The electric SUV has been one of the best-selling cars in India since its launch in 2020, as evidenced by its sales. According to the firm, the EV makes up much to 15% of total Nexon sales. Currently, more than 500 Indian cities offer it. The homegrown automaker further claims that the EV has so far travelled more than 900 million kilometres. Also, Nexon EV owners have been making journeys of up to 1,500 kilometres in one go. According to further information provided by Tata Motors, Nexon EV users make intercity and outstation excursions averaging between 100 and 400 kilometres, totalling about 6.3 million km in a month. For starters, the electric car is available in Prime, Max, and Dark versions, with prices beginning from Rs 14.49 lakh (ex-showroom).

Tata Nexon EV Sales Milestone: What the Company Has to Say?
Sharing his views on the milestone, Mr. Vivek Srivatsa, Head, Marketing, Sales and Service Strategy, Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd., said that the Nexon EV was introduced as India’s own electric SUV with the aim of offering a cool, stylish, practical and real-world solution for faster EV adoption in India. The Nexon EV customers have grown to 50K in just 3 years.
He further added, ''We would like to thank the early adopters, who believed in the promise of the Nexon EV and in turn allowed the EV ecosystem to build and become what it is now. We hope more people experience the promise of an EV and evolve to electric.”

Features-wise, the EV gets leatherette ventilated seats, auto-dimming IRVM, a wireless charger, an electric sunroof, multiple drive modes, etc. For safety, the car offers ESP with iVBAC, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, dual airbags, all-disc brakes, and more.

Tata Nexon EV MAX XZ+ LUX Variant Launched in India
The homegrown carmaker launched the Nexon EV MAX XZ+ LUX model at Rs 18.79 lakh (ex-showroom). Also, it introduced a brand-new 7.2 kW AC Fast Charger variant at Rs 19.29 lakh (ex-showroom, India. The all-new version has a range of updates, including a bigger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system by Harman, and a high-definition (1920 x 720) display. This system features WiFi, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and more.
