At HorizonNext Tata Motors brought to India a cavalry of cars that were to be re-launched into the Indian market with top-of-the-line features and more style than before. Tata Motors has already launched the new Nano, Nano CNG and the Indigo eCS and now the company announced their latest offering in the entry-level SUV segment – the Sumo Gold.

The new offering is a result of extensive consumer studies and field tests to fulfill various requirements, long-awaited by the new generation customer.”
Tata Motors claims that the Sumo boasts 20% more space than the competition. Tata sticks to fabrics and wooden interiors, while also maintaining that the Sumo has the lowest in-cabin noise, with improved NVH (Noise Vibration Harshness) and cools twice as fast due to its Powerful Dual AC.
The wooden centre console of the new Sumo Gold is equipped with the latest music system with USB and Bluetooth connectivity. The SUV also comes with power steering. It comes powered by the 3-litre CR4 engine which churns out 84bhp and 250Nm of torques from as low as 1000-2000rpm.
The new Tata Sumo Gold is available in 5 variants - GX, FX, EX, LX and CX with its price starting from Rs. 5.93 lakhs onwards (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
