With the year-end approaching, car manufacturers have started rolling out some interesting offers for new car buyers in the country. Tata Motors is the first automaker to announce some lucrative incentives this month for customers. Under its ‘Mega Offer Max Celebration campaign’, the homegrown manufacturer is offering customers to buy a Tata car at a down payment of just 1 rupee while savings of up to Rs 1 lakh are on offer across its different car models.

The manufacturer also says that it has tied up with leading banks to offer up to 100 per cent finance options on a new car purchase. On the other hand, customers buying new Tata vehicles can also avail a cash benefit of as much as Rs 1 lakh. The maximum benefit of a lakh rupees, however, is offered on the slow-selling Safari Storme SUV. That said, the Hexa has benefits worth Rs 78,000 on select variants, while the Zest also gets discounts of up to Rs 68,000. The Tiago and Tigor have benefits of Rs 26,000 and Rs 32,000, respectively. In addition to the aforementioned offers, Tata Motors is also offering tempting exchange bonus rates on its vehicles, the company claims.

Offering heavy discount towards the end of the year will surely push the sales of Tata Motors in the domestic market. That said, it doesn’t look like the manufacturer is currently suffering or is performing poorly as far as the sales are concerned as last month, November 2017 that is, Tata Motors registered a whopping growth of 35 per cent in the passenger vehicle segment and sold 17,157 units.
