Tata Motors has just expanded its utility vehicle line-up in the country by launching the all new Movus. Priced as an entry-level MUV, the Movus is a lower priced version of the Tata Sumo Grand that will be available in 7, 8, and 9-seater variants and features Tata’s 2.2-liter VARICOR engine with 118bhp and 250Nm of torque. Keeping in mind that it is an entry-level MUV, the Movus features a starting price of `6.99 lakhs. Tata also claims that the Movus has been designed to keep the vehicle’s weight down to a minimum and therefore will feature increased fuel economy, which they have claim to be best-in-segment at around 15km/l. There will also be plenty of interior cabin space and the seats can be adjusted in many different ways to allow for additional room and storage.
