For customers whose warranty and free service period are due to expire between 1st April and 31st May 2021, an extension will come into effect till 30th June 2021.
Due to the ongoing lockdown in numerous states and cities across the country, car owners will obviously find themselves helpless when it comes to getting their vehicles serviced as per the manufacturer-provided timeline and service schedule. Therefore, to provide relief to its customers, Tata Motors has decided to extend the warranty and free service period until 30th June for select owners whose vehicles' warranty and free service period (not kilometres) are due to expire between 1st April and 31st May 2021.
Sharing his thoughts on the decision, Mr Dimple Mehta, Head – Customer Care (Domestic & IB – PVBU) at Tata Motors, said, 'The COVID-19 upsurge has led to restrictions on movements, and customers across the country are unable to bring or send their vehicles to our authorised service centres for scheduled maintenance or repairs...We are committed to our customers and are offering them utmost support in these tough times by extending their warranty and free service period till 30th June 2021.'
Given its increasing sales, Tata Motors is putting an all-out effort to expand its sales & after-sales touchpoints across important centres in the country. To this end, Tata recently launched ten new showrooms across the Delhi-NCR region in a day!
