Tata Motors has launched the ICE edition of the Curvv in India at a starting price of Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom). The SUV Coupe differs from its electric counterpart with a black panel spanning the upper grille, a modified central air dam, and a unique alloy wheel design. It's available in four variants (Smart, Pure, Creative, and Accomplished) and three engine options. As for the colours, customers can choose from six different options: Flame Red, Pristine White, Daytona Grey, Opera Blue, Gold Essence, and Pure Grey. Tata Curvv ICE: Platform and Engine
The ATLAS (Adaptive Tech Forward Lifestyle Architecture), which made its debut alongside the Curvv EV, is the foundation for the company's ICE-powered Curvv. According to Tata Motors, this platform will support its upcoming SUVs and other models.

The Curvv ICE is available with three engine options – a 1.2-litre direct injection turbocharged petrol (Hyperion), a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine (Revotron), and a 1.5-litre diesel unit. The first is a new engine, producing 123bhp at 5,000rpm and 225Nm between 1,700rpm and 3,500rpm. The other two are already offered with the Nexon, with power and torque outputs of 118bhp and 170Nm (turbo-petrol) and 116bhp and 260Nm (Diesel). The transmission options include a 6-speed manual unit and a 7-speed dual-clutch unit.
Tata Curvv ICE: Interior and Features
Inside, the ICE variant gets a unique dual-tone burgundy colour scheme. It comes equipped with a 10.25-inch digital driver's display, a 12.3-inch infotainment screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, two-step recliner rear seats with 60:40 split functionality, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, a wireless phone charger, a 6-way-powered adjustable driver seat, and a 9-speaker sound system.
Safety-wise, the Curvv ICE comes with a 360-degree camera with a blind view monitor, six airbags (standard), an electronic parking brake with auto-hold, a tyre pressure monitor, and Level 2 ADAS with features like forward collision warning, lane-keep assist, and adaptive cruise control.
Tata Curvv ICE: Design
One of the standout features of Tata's new SUV models – a linked LED DRL strip with a welcome and goodbye function – is also available with the Tata Curvv ICE. The car's grille has chrome studs, just like the Harrier's, while the headlights and fog lights are positioned vertically. Moreover, the front bumper has parking sensors and a camera. On the sides, you can see flush door handles – a first for a Tata car – and new 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels with a flower-petal design. The rear portion features connected taillights, a bumper with a silver-finished faux skid plate, an elevated boot lid, and a chrome-finished Curvv logo.
Tata Curvv ICE: Prices
The prices for the Curvv's base turbo-petrol variant and diesel variant begin at Rs 10 lakh and Rs 11.5 lakh, respectively. Notably, Tata's new Hyperion direct-injection turbo-petrol engine is available with the Creative and above variants, with prices starting at Rs 14 lakh.

Tata has disclosed that the base diesel DCA model starts at Rs 14 lakh, while the regular Revotron turbo-petrol DCA begins at Rs 12.5 lakh. The prices of all automated versions are yet unknown. On the other hand, the base price of the Hyperion turbo-petrol DCA variant is Rs 16.5 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom and valid for reservations placed before October 31, 2024.
