According to the most recent investor meeting, Tata Motors is preparing to introduce a variety of electric cars in India by April 2026, including the Curvv, the Harrier, the Sierra, and the Avinya. The first two models (Curvv and Harrier) will arrive during the fiscal year 2025 (until March 2025), while the remaining vehicles (Sierra and Avinya) are scheduled for release in the financial year 2026 (April 2025 to March 2026). Tata Motors currently offers the Tiago hatchback, the Tigor sedan, the Punch SUV, and the Nexon SUV in its electric lineup. The last two models recently obtained a perfect 5-star safety rating in the most latest round of Bharat NCAP crash tests. With more electric cars in the pipeline, the automaker aims to emerge as a major global EV manufacturer and increase its market share in India. Tata Curvv EV
The Indian automaker's first SUV coupe has been spotted testing on our roads on numerous occasions, revealing several new details like a charging port behind the LED light bar, similar to the new Punch.ev. Although there isn't much information available on the drivetrain, the Curvv EV is expected to have a range of about 500 kilometres on a single charge. Features-wise, it will likely include ventilated front seats, a sunroof, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, and a 12.3-inch touchscreen system. For safety, Tata Motors may equip the SUV coupe with a 360-degree camera, up to six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), and front and rear parking sensors, as well as, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) with features like lane keep assist and adaptive cruise control.
Tata Harrier EV
The electrified Harrier is said to be built on the Tata Acti.EV platform and have a range of more than 500 kilometres. While Tata Motors hasn't revealed any specifications, industry rumours suggest that the EV will feature dual-motor all-wheel drive. The electric SUV is expected to have the same features as its diesel counterpart, which include dual-zone automatic air conditioning, wireless phone charging, panoramic sunroof (with mood lighting), a 10.25-inch digital driver's display, and ventilated and powered front seats. It could also get ADAS, similar to the ICE-powered Harrier.
Tata Sierra EV
The brand-new Tata Sierra EV is set to go on sale before March 2026. It will likely have an electric all-wheel-drive system and a dual-motor arrangement, similar to the Harrier EV. The EV's design is expected to combine modern elements with iconic styling cues from the original Sierra (1991-2003). In terms of features, the electric SUV will likely be equipped with connected car technology, dual digital displays, an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS), and six airbags.

Tata Avinya
The first production vehicle based on the Avinya concept will make its way to India in FY2026, as announced by Tata Motors. The concept, which debuted in April 2022, will spawn several new EVs that'll use JLR's modular EMA platform. While details on the powertrain are scarce, the Avinya line of cars is expected to have a range of more than 500 kilometres and feature ultra-fast charging.
