Tata Motors has unveiled the exterior of the production-spec Curvv, which comes in both ICE and EV variants. The prices of the EV will be announced first, on August 7, 2024, followed by the ICE variant sometime later. Design-wise, the Curvv SUV Coupe is strikingly similar to the Nexon from the front. Its electric edition has a charging flap in the front, similar to the Punch.ev, and many vertical design components on the lower bumper. In contrast, the ICE model has thinner horizontal components on the lower bumper and front. The Curvv EV variant has a closed-off, body-coloured grille, while the ICE model has an all-black one.

Both variants feature aerodynamic alloy wheels, flush-style door handles (first for a Tata car), linked LED DRLs, and an all-LED headlight design. The Curvv stands out from the Nexon in the back with its steep roofline and larger size. Both versions of the Coupe include a linked LED taillight arrangement. It is expected to feature a 10.25-inch fully digital driver’s display, ventilated front seats, a 12.3-inch touchscreen, a panoramic sunroof, and a two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo. To stand out, the Curvv could come with a variety of interior colour options.

Tata Curvv: Powertrain

Tata Motors hasn't confirmed powertrain specs, but industry reports suggest that the Curvv ICE will have two engine options: 1.2-litre GDi turbo petrol and 1.5-litre diesel. The former produces 123bhp and 225Nm, while the latter delivers 113bhp and 260Nm. The diesel engine is available with a six-speed MT or the six-speed AT, while the turbocharged petrol unit is offered with a six-speed manual or a seven-speed DCT.

Coming to the EV variant, the SUV coupe is likely to be offered in two configurations (Standard Range and Long Range), with a range of over 500 kilometres on a single charge.
