Tata Curvv, Curvv EV Dark Editions Launched in India; Prices Start at Rs 16.49 Lakh
The Curvv Dark is based on the Accomplished S and Accomplished Plus A versions, while the EV version is only available in the top-spec Empowered Plus A variant.

Tata Motors has launched the Curvv, the Curvv EV Dark Editions in India, following a series of teasers. The blacked-out ICE model commands a Rs 32,000 premium over its regular version, while the EV variant is priced at Rs 25,000 above the standard. The internal combustion Curvv Dark is based on the more feature-rich Accomplished S and Accomplished Plus A trims, while the electric version is offered solely in the top-end Empowered Plus A trim. Pricing for the Curvv Dark starts at Rs 16.49 lakh for the 1.2-litre turbo-petrol with a manual gearbox and goes up to Rs 19.52 lakh for the 1.5-litre diesel paired with a seven-speed DSG. Meanwhile, the Curvv EV Dark Edition is priced at Rs 22.24 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom.

The Dark Edition models stick to the original silhouette but add a full blacked-out treatment. The deep black exterior gives a sportier and more aggressive road presence, differentiating the darker Curvv and the Curvv EV from their regular versions. While the ‘#Dark’ fender badges highlight the limited edition of the cars, the darkened dual-tone 18-inch alloy wheels enhance their performance-oriented look and stance.

Tata Curvv, Curvv EV Dark Editions: Interior and Features

The all-black theme extends to the interior, which retains its standard layout. Black leatherette seats have 'Dark' headrest badges. Piano black accents and blue ambient lighting elevate the cabin's overall style. The Curvv Dark and Curvv EV Dark continue to offer a comprehensive suite of features, including a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, a 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and a panoramic sunroof. For added comfort, these models come with wireless phone charging, ventilated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a 9-speaker JBL sound system.
The safety net includes a 360-degree camera, front and rear parking sensors, 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, a tyre pressure monitoring system, an electronic parking brake, and Level-2 ADAS.
Tata Curvv, Curvv EV Dark Editions: Powertrains
The Curvv Dark Edition is available with two engine options: q 123bhp/225Nm 1.2-litre turbo-petrol and a 116bhp/260Nm 1.5-litre diesel. Transmission options are a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
In contrast, the Curvv EV Dark Edition features a 55kWh battery driving a 165bhp/215Nm electric motor, offering a range of up to 502 kilometres.
