Do not wait any longer if you plan on buying a Tata vehicle.
Tata Motors has announced that it would be increasing prices of its entire passenger vehicle range by up to Rs 60,000. This increase in price is due to rising input costs and will be effective April 1, 2018.
Tata has not given a model wise breakup of the price increase though. However, it is quite evident that since the Hexa is the company’s current flagship model, it will witness the maximum surge in its price, i.e., Rs 60,000. On the other hand, this increase should be marginal on Tata’s compact cars like Tiago and Tigor.
According to Mayank Pareek, President, passenger vehicle business, Tata Motors, “The rising input costs, changing market conditions and various external economic factors, have compelled us to consider the price increase but we are optimistic on maintaining our growth trajectory in the coming year on the back of our robust product portfolio like Tiago, Hexa, Tigor and Nexon”.
Tata Motors has met with reasonable success with its newer models like the Tiago and Nexon. Moving ahead, the company has already revealed its Impact Design 2.0 philosophy which promises even sharper looking Tata cars in future. The company’s 2018 concept vehicles - H5X, 45X and E-Vision - have been critically acclaimed worldwide.
