Ahead of its India launch, the Tata Altroz Racer has just made an unofficial debut as the fresh set of spy shots show the sportier version of the Altroz hatchback fully undisguised. The test mule gets almost all the design elements from the car showcased at this year's Bharat Mobility Expo; however, there is one visual change – the same 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels as the standard Altroz.
Measuring 3,990mm long, 1,755mm wide, and 1,523mm high, the Tata Altroz Racer is identifiable by a dual-tone paint scheme (vibrant orange with contrasting black), sporty decals, and blacked-out elements like alloy wheels, outside rearview mirrors, pillars, and bonnet with white racing stripes. 'Racer' badges further accentuate the sporty character of the vehicle. Inside, the all-black finish on the dashboard is contrasted with orange highlights on the steering wheel, AC vents, and gear console. The contrast continues with the orange-coloured ambient lighting.
