Tata Altroz Racer: What's Under the Bonnet?
The new Altroz Racer is confirmed to have the Nexon's 1.2-litre, three-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine, which delivers 120bhp and 170Nm of performance numbers. However, unlike the latter's four transmission options, the Racer edition will only come with a 6-speed manual transmission. Given that Tata Motors offers the Altroz with DCT gearbox in its lineup, the upcoming hatch will likely get one as well. However, as of now, there is no confirmation of it.
Tata Altroz Racer: Appearance
The hatchback will have a dual-tone colour scheme, as seen at the 2024 Bharat Mobility Expo, with a black finish and white racing stripes on the bonnet, and hood. The car will be available in three exterior paint options: Atomic Orange, Avenue White, and Pure Grey, based on the leaked specs.
