The Racer version is propelled by a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine with 170Nm of peak torque and 118bhp of maximum power, just like the Nexon SUV. Tata Altroz Racer: Rivals

The Hyundai i20 N Line, which is positioned as a more performance-oriented hatchback in the class, will be the Tata Altroz Racer's main rival. The Tata offering's competitors are few, as models like the Volkswagen Polo and Maruti Suzuki Baleno RS are not yet available in India. However, the Altroz Racer would face stiff competition from the Maruti Suzuki Fronx and the new Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor, both of which use 1.0-litre turbo petrol engines.
