Suzuki will stop selling the Jimny off-roader in Europe next year owing to new and more stringent European emission standards. While no formal announcement has been made, the soon-to-be discontinued model will make way for its electric successor, which could go on sale late next year. The Jimny off-roader is sold in a variety of countries, including India. In our market, the lifestyle SUV is equipped with a K15B 1.5-litre petrol engine and a 5-speed manual or automatic transmission. It is priced between Rs 12.74 lakh and Rs 14.79 lakh (both, ex-showroom Delhi). With a limited run of 900 units, Suzuki Germany has introduced the Jimny Horizon special edition to bid farewell to the popular SUV. Read on to find out more about the exclusive model.

Suzuki Jimny Horizon: What's Different?
The limited-run model comes with a body kit and a comprehensive accessory package. It has an aluminum skid plate on the bumper, complementing the side skirts, a spare wheel cover with the Suzuki emblem, and a retro-style grille with Suzuki branding that sets it apart from the regular Jimny. The Horizon edition sports a unique Medium Gray colour with black graphics. Its accessory package includes a detachable trailer hitch. Inside, the model's flat floor and two-seater arrangement provide up to 863 litres of storage space.
The familiar 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine in the special edition generates 130Nm and 99bhp. However, unlike the conventional model, this unit is exclusively mated to a manual gearbox that distributes power to all four wheels.
