SsangYong's CEO, Yoo Il Lee, announced the name of an all new crossover - Tivoli. It will first be launched in Korea in January 2015 and in the latter half of the year it will be available in all leading global markets.
The Tivoli looks similar to the two concepts -- the XIV-Air and XVI-Adventure -- which were previewed at 2014 Paris motor show. The South Korean unit of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd has revealed the latest rendered images of the car’s exterior and interior. The exterior features the look of a dynamic, urban SUV with a modern silhouette, and embracing the rhythmical motion, which is SsangYong’s new design philosophy.
The interior is stylish and has a contemporary look. While designing, it was kept in mind to offer driver and passengers easy connectivity to their devices. Apart from making a style statement, it is very practical as it has a lot of storage space.
Even though SsangYong has not confirmed the engine specifications, the Tivoli will be powered by the 1.6-litre petrol engine and the Korando's 2-litre diesel engine. Ssangyong will first launch the petrol variant, while the diesel-powered Tivoli model will makes its debut in the second half of next year.
