Skoda has just introduced the Superb Sportline to add a sporty version to their flagship.
Skoda Auto India’s flagship fastback sedan, the Superb is now available in the ‘Sportline’ trim. Skoda has launched the Superb Sportline for Rs 28,99 lakh for the petrol version, while the diesel option is priced at Rs 31.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Superb Sportline offers a sportier feel to the sedan with cosmetic updates like a carbon fibre finished panels on the dash, a sporty steering wheel with paddle shifters and headrest integrated sports seats and trim panels laced with satin black Alcantara. The all-black interior is also accentuated with a red stripe which runs across the dashboard and door panels with LED ambient lighting.
The design updates on the exterior feature chrome highlights on the rear diffuser and gloss black elements like the ‘Superb’ badge on the inside of the door sills, the ‘Superb Sportline’ badge on the quarter panel, and a thin spoiler on the tip of the boot lid. The car also gets new 17-inch dual tone Drakon alloy wheels. As for colour options, the Sportline will be available in Moon White, Velvet Red and Steel Grey.
As for engines, powering the petrol version is the 1.8-litre four-cylinder TSI motor which develops 177bhp and 250Nm of torque, while the 2.0-litre four-pot diesel TDI is capable of producing 174bhp and 350Nm of torque. Both engines are offered with dual-clutch automatic transmissions only.
