Skoda Superb has been relaunched in India after almost a year of absence. Formerly the flagship sedan in Skoda India's portfolio, it was discontinued as a result of the strict BS6 Phase II pollution regulations. Although it's gone for a while, it's back as a complete import. Only 100 units of this sedan will be available in India. Priced at Rs 54 lakh (ex-showroom), it's a significant premium over its predecessor. It is important to remember that this is not to be confused with the brand's fourth-generation Superb, which was released globally in November 2023.
Skoda Superb: Design
The Superb's design retains a recognisable aspect similar to its predecessor in the Indian market. Skoda's distinctive grille is enhanced by full LED headlights that include washers, creating an air of sophistication. The LED fog lights are seamlessly incorporated into the bumper, improving both the visual appeal and practicality. On the flanks, the Superb showcases new 18-inch alloy wheels, which enhance its appearance with a touch of elegance. The back of the vehicle is enhanced with LED taillights that include dynamic turn indicators, which combine visibility and flair flawlessly.

Skoda has enhanced the feature list of the 2018 Superb. The upgrades include a stylish 10.2-inch digital driver display and a user-friendly 9.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system that smoothly supports both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Moreover, the incorporation of wireless charging, tri-zone temperature control, and other features increase the degree of comfort and convenience for those within the vehicle.
There are 12 different configurations for the front seats thanks to the electronic adjustment. Also, there's a massage function and memory function on the driver's seat. This vehicle also features a two-spoke steering wheel with paddle shifters.
Skoda's Superb stands out for its safety features, making it one of the safest cars in India. Like Slavia and Kushaq, it gets top marks in both Global NCAP and Euro NCAP crash tests. This sedan is packed with safety features, including nine airbags, a 360-degree camera, a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, and Park Assist with Emergency Braking Assist.
