Skoda is preparing to give a mid-life cycle refresh to the Slavia sedan for the Indian market. The revamped model is expected to go on sale here soon, although the automaker hasn't announced anything. According to the most recent spy images, the car seems to have a thinner grille, updated LED headlights, and boomerang-shaped LED DRLs. Except for minor changes, it seems nearly identical to its predecessor from the side and rear. Some of the features visible in the spy shots are the sunroof, LED taillights, halogen fog lamps, shark-fin antenna, blacked-out multispoke alloy wheels, and halogen fog lamps.

New Skoda Slavia: More Highlights

The most significant feature upgrade on the Slavia will likely be ADAS. Although the Czech automaker hasn't made an official announcement, there are rumours that the Kushaq and the new Slavia may come equipped with advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) for increased safety. The front parking sensor system, an electric parking brake, and a 360-degree parking camera are other possible features.

For propulsion, the Skoda Slavia may keep the same engine options: a 1-litre turbo-petrol engine and a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine. The former generates 113bhp and 178Nm, whereas the latter produces 148bhp and 250Nm. There are three transmission options: six-speed manual, six-speed automatic torque converter, and seven-speed DCT gearbox.

The existing feature list of the sedan includes a two-spoke steering wheel, a wireless charger, a fully digital instrument cluster, a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, cruise control, touch-based automatic climate control, and front-ventilated seats.
