The Skoda Enyaq Coupe iV will be fully revealed on January 31
Skoda’s Enyaq iV has received lots of love in international markets, and there were even rumours of it being considered for the Indian market. Well, to keep the ball rolling, Skoda has teased us with the Enyaq Coupe iV which will be the swankier coupe-SUV alternative to the standard Enyaq iV.
Skoda Enyaq Coupe iV design
While Skoda has only released two sketches of the Enyaq Coupe iV, you can get an idea of what the production car will look like. The resemblance to the standard Enyaq iV is obvious, especially at the front, however it is down the side that the aggressively sloped roof marks a difference. We also expect the rear-end to be redesigned to further differentiate the Coupe from the standard car.
Skoda Enyaq Coupe iV range, battery and motors
Since this is just a cosmetic change to the standard Enyaq iV, we expect the Enyaq Coupe iV to continue to use the standard car’s battery and motor options, which also include a hot 301bhp RS version while the battery sizes range from 55kWh to 82kWh and it is also likely to be offered in both rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive guise. Skoda hasn’t disclosed any range figures, but the Enyaq Coupe iV is said to boast a marginally longer range than the standard car, which maxes out at a claimed 510km, thanks to its slipperier shape.
Expect more details to arrive at the Enyaq Coupe iV’s official unveiling which will take place on January 31.
Now we don’t really expect the Skoda Enyaq Coupe iV to make its way to India anytime soon, though our fingers are still crossed on seeing the standard Enyaq iV make its debut in India in the near future. At a price of under Rs 40 lakh, the Enyaq iV could prove to be a great product for Skoda in the all-electric space.
