Prior to its global debut at the 2018 Paris Motor Show, the Kodiaq RS has been teased by Skoda in its latest video.
Skoda, in its latest video, has dropped plenty of hints about the new Kodiaq RS, ahead of the high-performance SUV’s official world debut at the 2018 Paris Motor Show in October. The video offers a preview of the car’s full-LED headlights, virtual cockpit and the new Dynamic Sound Boost function which accentuates the exhaust note.
To be fitted with a 236bhp diesel engine, the most powerful in Skoda's history, an All-Wheel-Drive system and adaptive suspension, the Kodiaq RS will be the brand’s first high-performance SUV. Besides the AWD, the Kodiaq RS will also come fitted with an individually adjustable virtual cockpit, Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC), Driving Mode Select and a progressive steering rack.
In June 2018, Skoda ran the Kodiaq RS on the Nurburgring and with racing driver Sabine Schmitz behind the wheel, the Kodiaq RS set a lap time of 9:29.84 minutes, making it the fastest ever seven-seat SUV to set a time on it.
