Skoda Kylaq SUV Deliveries Commence in India; Prices Start at Rs 7.89 Lakh
Built on the MQB-A0-IN platform, the Skoda Kylaq is available in six colours: Carbon Steel, Candy White, Olive Gold, Lava Blue, Tornado Red, and Brilliant Silver.
Skoda Auto India has officially started delivering the Kylaq to customers, following its recent showcasing at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. The SUV, launched in November last year, garnered significant attention by securing more than 10,000 bookings within just ten days of its debut. The price of the Kylaq starts at Rs 7.89 lakh and goes up to Rs 14.40 lakh. Both mentioned prices are ex-showroom figures. Coming to the market rivalry, the model takes on the likes of the Hyundai Venue, Nissan Magnite, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Kia Sonet, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, and the Renault Kiger. Skoda Kylaq SUV: Dimensions
In terms of dimensions, the Kylaq is 230mm shorter than the Kushaq, measuring 3,995mm in length, 1,783mm in width, and 1,619mm in height. The wheelbase is 2,566mm – 85mm shorter than the Kushaq – with a ground clearance of 189mm.
Skoda Kylaq SUV: Engine Options
Powering the Kylaq is a 1.0-litre TSI petrol engine delivering 114bhp and 178Nm of torque. Customers can opt for either a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission.

According to Skoda, the Kylaq achieves a top speed of 188km/h and accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in 10.5 seconds with the manual gearbox. This engine is standard across all four trims: Classic, Signature, Signature+, and Prestige.

The SUV adopts Skoda's 'Modern Solid' design philosophy, showcasing the signature butterfly grille finished in the Piano Black shade. This is paired with a split lighting arrangement, featuring sleek LED DRLs at the top and projector LED headlights integrated into the bumper below.
While it shares design cues with the Kushaq, the Kylaq has a more compact appearance. Built on the MQB-A0-IN platform, it rides on 17-inch alloy wheels and is available in six colours: Carbon Steel, Candy White, Olive Gold, Lava Blue, Tornado Red, and Brilliant Silver.

The Kylaq's cabin, resembling the interiors of the Kushaq and Slavia, is outfitted with a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless charging, ventillated front seats, and six-way power-adjustable front seats.
It also includes a single-pane sunroof, connected car technology, leatherette upholstery, keyless entry, ambient lighting, a six-speaker Canton audio system, a cooled glovebox, and cupholders for added convenience.

Moving to the safety quotient, the Skoda model boasts over 25 advanced features, such as six airbags, ABS with EBD, traction and stability control, Electronic Brake Distribution, three-point seatbelts, Roll Over Protection, Motor Slip Regulation, an Electronic Differential Lock, passenger airbag deactivation, Multi-Collision Braking, and ISOFIX child seat anchors.
