Skoda Kushaq, Slavia Prices Revised in India, Variants Rejigged
The Skoda Kushaq mid-size SUV now stands between Rs 10.89 lakh and Rs 18.79 lakh, while the Slavia sedan is priced from Rs 10.69 lakh to Rs 18.69 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom.
Skoda Auto has announced a substantial price cut across all variants of the Kushaq SUV and the Slavia sedan to now start at Rs 10.89 lakh and Rs 10.69 lakh, respectively. At the moment, the mid-size SUV stands between Rs 10.89 lakh and Rs 18.79 lakh, while the sedan is priced from Rs 10.69 lakh to Rs 18.69 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom.
The price revision makes the entry-level Kushaq Rs 1.10 lakh cheaper, and the entry-level Slavia Rs 94,000 cheaper, although the revised prices are applicable for a limited period only. Alongside, the Czech-based Skoda has dropped the previous nomenclature (Active, Ambition, Style) for the variants of both models, bringing down the number of variants as a result. The Skoda Kushaq and Slavia can now be had in Classic, Signature, and Prestige variants, while the former additionally comes in two more variants: Onyx and Monte Carlo.

Skoda Kushaq: Revised Pricing
The Skoda Kushaq sees a maximum price cut of Rs 2.19 lakh, applicable on the Monte Carlo 1.5 AT. Consequently, the new price of the variant stands at Rs 18.30 lakh (ex-showroom). The erstwhile top-spec Monte Carlo 1.5 AT variant now sits below the Prestige 1.5 AT, which costs Rs 18.79 lakh (ex-showroom). Skoda Slavia: Revised Pricing
The new Classic variant, priced at Rs 10.69 lakh (ex-showroom), now replaces the former entry-level Active variant of the Slavia. For those who don't know, the Active variant was priced at Rs 11.63 lakh (ex-showroom). Here, the entry-level variant has received a maximum price cut of Rs 94,000, while the top-spec Prestige 1.5 AT has seen the least (Rs 14,000). Now, take a close look at its pricing:

Skoda Kushaq, Slavia: Powertrain
Under the hood, both models get two engine options: a 1-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol and a 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine. The 1.0-litre petrol unit belts out 114bhp and 178Nm of torque, whereas the more powerful 1.5-litre engine makes 148bhp and 250Nm of torque. Transmission duties are handled by a six-speed manual, an automatic torque converter, and a seven-speed DSG.
