Skoda Kushaq, Slavia Get Front Parking Sensors, Underbody Lights and More Accessories

Skoda recently revised the prices for the Kushaq SUV and the Slavia sedan in India. It also changed the name for the variants of the models from Active, Ambition, and Style to Classic, Signature, and Prestige.

Skoda India has announced a new range of accessories for the Kushaq and the Slavia, with prices ranging from Rs 3,199 to Rs 11,299. The wide range of accessories includes front parking sensors and underbody lights that can be added to all variants. Except for the black Vega alloy wheels for the Kushaq, both Skoda cars have common equipment. The prices of accessories for both models are similar, except for the Front Parking Sensors, which cost Rs 7,699 for the Kushaq and Rs 7,299 for the Slavia. Mechanically, the Slavia sedan and Kushaq SUV have two engine options: a 1-0-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol and a 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine. The former produces 114bhp and 178Nm of torque, while the latter generates 148bhp and 250Nm. Skoda Kushaq, Slavia: Latest Developments

Skoda Auto recently revised prices of the SUV and the sedan in India. After the price cut, the mid-size SUV is priced between Rs 10.89 lakh and Rs 18.79 lakh, while the sedan costs between Rs 10.69 lakh and Rs 18.69 lakh. The prices are ex-showroom. The SUV and sedan have become more affordable by up to Rs 2.19 lakh and Rs 94,000, respectively. However, it is essential to note that the new pricing is only valid for a limited period.

Additionally, the company changed the name for the variants of both models from Active, Ambition, and Style to Classic, Signature, and Prestige. Notably, the Skoda Kushaq additionally comes in two more variants: Onyx and Monte Carlo.

The Kushaq SUV comes in five monotone and one dual-tone hue: Tornado Red, Candy White, Carbon Steel, Brilliant Silver, Lava Blue, and Brilliant Silver With Carbon Steel. Its sedan sibling, on the other hand, is available in six monotone and two dual-tone paint options: Brilliant Silver, Candy White, Lava Blue, Crystal Blue, Tornado Red, Carbon Steel, Crystal Blue with Carbon Steel roof, and Brilliant Silver with Carbon Steel roof.

In terms of features, the Skoda cars get a 10-inch touchscreen, an 8-inch digital driver’s display, ventilated front seats, powered driver and co-driver seat, six airbags, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and ISOFIX child-seat anchorages.

The Skoda Kushaq competes with the Volkswagen Taigun, the Citroen C3 Aircross, the Hyundai Creta, the Kia Seltos, the MG Astor, and the Honda Elevate, while the Slavia lock horns with the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, the Honda City, and the Hyundai Verna in India.
