The Kushaq Lava Blue Edition was rolled out by Skoda India in the Indian market in April this year. Now, the Czech auto manufacturer has almost sold out all units of the Kushaq's special edition model. The Lava Blue Edition is only available at select dealerships, hence, if you are planning to pick one up for yourself, you need to contact your local dealer and inquire whether they have it in stock. For those unaware, the brand-new colour option is exclusive to flagship vehicles like the Kodiaq SUV and the Superb sedan, aside from the limited edition versions of the Kushaq and the Slavia. The limited edition Kushaq Lava Blue SUV comes with a 1.5-litre TSI petrol engine under the hood with chrome accents, mud flaps, and an "Edition" logo on the B-pillar as standard equipment.

A 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine churning out 148bhp of maximum power and 250Nm of peak torque powers the Kushaq Lava Blue Edition. The engine was made compliant with E20 fuel and the most recent RDE and BS6 Phase 2 emission norms, and it is mated with either a six-speed manual gearbox or a seven-speed DSG automatic transmission.
