Skoda has revealed the Kushaq Explorer, a more rugged version of its SUV tailored for the Indian market. The Kushaq Explorer Edition provides unique outdoor-themed exterior upgrades and extra features, expanding on the high-end Style trim. If Skoda chooses to launch the Explorer Edition, it is expected to be priced at Rs 80,000 to Rs 1 lakh higher than the Kushaq Style, including all upgrades. There is no official confirmation of its market release yet. Even though the Skoda Kushaq isn't built for off-roading, it has a number of upgrades that will thrill 4WD enthusiasts. The vehicle is equipped with Ultra Mile 44 all-terrain Bull off-road tyres on the front and back, as well as an orange-coloured tow hook installed on the lower part of the bumper.
Skoda Kushaq Explorer Edition: Design
The Skoda Kushaq Explorer Edition is visually different due to its unique exterior features. The front grille, emblems, and mirrors are finished in sleek black, with bright orange highlights on the grille, side body cladding, front bumper, and rear spoiler. Stylish 16-inch wheels with blacked-out accents and sturdy 215/65 section all-terrain tyres are displayed in the side profile. The SUV's rough appearance is further enhanced by orange tow hooks at the front and back, as well as a roof rack with an auxiliary light bar, improving its off-road appearance.
Skoda Kushaq Explorer Edition: Interior
Skoda has not yet revealed its interior but being based on the Style variant, one can expect the Explorer Edition to maintain all the features of the Style trim, including the 10.25-inch touchscreen, digital dials, ventilated seats, and sunroof, while also introducing various new additions.
Skoda Kushaq Explorer Edition: Engine
Both the 1.0-litre and 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engines with 115bhp and 150bhp, respectively and their accompanying manual and automatic transmissions are available on the Kushaq Explorer Edition. The Explorer Edition may have a unique ride height compared to the original SUV due to the off-road wheels it comes with, while still keeping the same engine options.
