The Skoda Kushaq Style 1.0-litre TSI with manual transmission now gets a new NSR variant that ditches a few features including a sunroof and rain-sensing wipers among others.
The Skoda Kushaq has received yet another variant update for this year. The new Style NSR variant will sit just below the top-spec Style variant. While the variant comes void of a few features, the range, as a while gets a few additional equipment.
The NSR in the name stands for ‘Non-Sunroof'. In addition to this, Skoda has also ditched features including rain-sensing wipers and auto-dimming interior rear-view mirror in the new variant. The car also gets a smaller 15-inch spare wheel instead of the larger 16-inch one.
The new variant is only available with a 1.0-litre TSI motor that comes mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. Prices for this variant start at Rs 15.09 lakh (ex-showroom, India), making it Rs 20,000 more affordable than the Style variant.
It is to be mentioned that Skoda has added more standard features to the Kushaq range. The car now gets Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) from the base variant, while the Style gets a new roof liner and a full-digital instrument cluster. Prices for the car remain unchanged at Rs 11.29 lakh for the base 1.0-litre TSI Active variant going up to Rs 18.79 lakh (ex-showroom, India) for the top-end 1.5-litre TSI Style AT.
