Skoda India reveals its plans to further expand in the non-metro cities. The brand will commence operations of its new compact workshops across the nation.
Skoda has announced that the brand will open 30 new compact workshops across the nation by the end of this year. These new workshops will operate alongside the existing 170 touch points that Skoda India has across 100 cities. These new compact workshops are supposed to target non-metro cities of the country.
The compact workshops will have two work bays for basic service jobs; however, the repair work will be carried at the brand’s main service workshops. The compact workshops will provide services such as inspections and replacements of coolant, brake oil, ATF (automatic transmission fluid), brake discs, or pads. Other services would include replacing wiper blades and bulbs, car detailing, and fitting accessories that do not need specialised tools.
Skoda brand director, Zac Hollis, said, 'We have already introduced several initiatives on this front, and I am happy to announce the start of "Skoda Compact Workshops". Our objective is to cater to the growing customer base and ensure that customers have a seamless experience with the Skoda brand.'
